Finders Keepers Account Guidelines

Guidelines for New Accounts: 

Consignor Splits are based on the actual selling price of the item and are as follows:

$1-$49: 40% consignor/60% store         $100-$199: 50% consignor/50% store

$50-$99: 45% consignor/55% store       $200 & Up: 60% consignor/40% store

The consignment period is 90 days. Items are discounted 25% after 30 days and 50% after 60 days. At the end of the 90-day consignment period, it is the consignor’s responsibility to pick up any expired items.  Items that are expired and have not been picked up are the property of Finders Keepers.  Finders Keepers is not responsible for any consigned merchandise that is lost, damaged or stolen.  All consigned merchandise is subject to special sale discounts, senior day discounts, menswear day discounts, and regular markdowns within the 90-day period.    

Every item that sells in the store will have a buyer fee added to the list price. This is paid by the buyer and is not included in the consignor split.

Consignments are accepted currently during our reduced hours between Tuesday – Saturday 11-4.

Consignors may bring up to 30 items once a week of the correct season, freshly laundered and either folded in a flat bottom box or bag or on hangers (we give them back to you). NO TRASH BAGS WILL BE ACCEPTED.  Items will be assessed at that time and unaccepted merchandise returned. Accepted merchandise will be processed into inventory at a later time, usually within a week but sometimes longer during the busy seasons. Important: if a major flaw is found in any item at any time during the consignment period, the item will be donated to charity and will not be available for return. CTD items within their 90-day period are excluded from this policy and the consignor will be contacted and given 1 week to reclaim the flawed item before donation.

Jewelry:

A maximum of 10 pieces of jewelry will be taken per each drop off once a week. Jewelry will be set aside and assessed at a later date. Jewelry that is accepted will be bought out right at 20% of the resale price and credited to the consignors account as a “Jewelry Buy Out,” and all unaccepted jewelry will be donated to charity.

Payment: Consignor may pick up money on their account anytime during regular business hours. Cash is given for amounts under $50 and a check will be written for amounts over $50. Consignment checks are printed and mailed every month for accounts with a balance of $75 or more during the first week of each month. The mailing fee is $2.00. It is your responsibility to keep your address current with Finders Keepers. Checks are void after 90 days.  If any check from Finders Keepers is not cashed or deposited within 13 months of issuance it is null and void and the funds are forfeited. Please deposit your checks right away to avoid this. You have the option to not have checks mailed to you if you prefer to retrieve your funds in person.

Online Access: Our consignment software includes Online Consignor Access, where you can check your balance and monitor your items at any time. Items are listed individually in your account so you can see what has sold and what is approaching expiration. Upon starting your account, you will receive an email from Office@Traxia.com please open it and follow the prompts to set up your online account access. There is no fee for this service.
